Erin Andrews has been doing live interviews long enough now that when she makes a mistake or has a slip of the tongue, she can move past it fairly easily by covering it up. But in a recent interview with Mike Napoli of the Boston Red Sox, Andrews stuttered over Justin Verlander’s name, and at least one viewer thought it was because she had another Justin on her mind. The result was a salty Twitter exchange in which Andrews defended herself, then went one further by posting a sarcastic tweet.
My lord..people are unreal RT @NDisch: “@pvdj: @ErinAndrews did you almost say Justin Bieber instead of Verlander in post game interview?”

Andrews also called Detroit manager Jim Leyland by the wrong name during the same game, however, prompting a lot of heat aimed her way. She also responded to that mixup on Twitter:
Ya…corrected myself on air..joe buck, joe west..it happens RT @kylejot81: @ErinAndrews called Jimmy Leyland 'Joe Leyland'… Smh
