Hola, bonjour, and guten tag, app developers. As of today, there are seven more countries in the world with access to Facebook’s App Center.
Today, App Center is available in Brazil, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey.
Here’s what Facebook told its user in Brazil (translation):
From today the App Center will be available for users of Brazil. This will facilitate your way to find new applications through your friends, making these applications can increase its reach among Facebook users. The new www.facebook.com/appcenter page will make your experience even more enjoyable.
Earlier this month, Facebook began the global rollout of the App Center – starting with the English-speaking world. That included the U.K., Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa. We were told that the rollout would continue to non-English speaking countries shortly, and it appears that Facebook is right on schedule.
The Facebook App Center launched in the U.S. on June 8th. It’s the premier place to find Facebook-connected apps for mobile and the web – and apps are sorted and displayed based on their quality. That last bit is something Facebook is rather proud of.
