  • MIranda Cosgrove is joining singer Jordin Sparks to promote the NFL’s new clothing line for young women. Football season is far away, but they have already started shooting ads featuring Miranda Cosgrove.

Jordin Sparks, daughter of N.Y. Giant Phillippi Sparks, shouldn’t have any problem sporting Arizona colors. Although, they may be insulting to her father.

“I was born and raised in Arizona. Although I have an allegiance to the Giants because of my daddy, I bleed Cardinal Red,” she explained. “I’ve always loved the underdog!”

However, Miranda Cosgrove and Jordin Sparks aren’t even the only young stars that the NFL has picked up to do the ads. They have been very busy lining up young celebrities to draw other young women to their clothing line.

Joining Cosgrove and Jordin Sparks are Gossip Girl actress Vanessa Szohr, Disney Channel’s China Anne McClain, and Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton

Not much is known yet about the campaign or the ads featuring Miranda Cosgrove, but there have been a few behind the scenes sneak peeks that have been leaked online.

Miranda Cosgrove first made her big screen appearance as Summer Hathaway in Jack Black’s School of Rock. She then went on to find fame on Nickelodeon’s show Drake & Josh.

After that came her big role on iCarly which led her to be named in the 2012 Guiness Book of World Records as the Highest Paid Child Actress.

Now she is moving on to become a famous face for the NFL.

Congratulations to Miranda Cosgrove on her new project. I’m sure this isn’t the last we see of the iCarly star.
