Spending every day on the Internet, it’s sometimes easy to forget or to take for granted just how far the web has come, especially in terms of design. Don’t get me wrong. There are still plenty of embarrassing designs out there, but by and large, web design has evolved significantly since the early 90s.

The following infographic from Aptitude gives us a walk down memory lane, and helps us appreciate the web of today, even if it still has a long way to go.
