  • The meeting between rapper 50 Cent and former record executive Steve Stoute at Madison Square Garden Saturday night was definitely not a walk in the park.

Expecting to see the New York Knicks play an exciting basketball game, fans were also treated to a heated conversation between the two.

The pair was spotted getting close to each other’s faces, and using animated gesturing while conversing, and it wasn’t because they were getting friendly with each other, either.

Bad blood has been brewing between the “In da Club” rapper and Stoute since 2000, when Fifty was dropped from Sony/Columbia records after he was shot.

Stoute added fuel to the rivalry during two recent radio interviews, used to promote his docu-series, Tanning Of America.

During an interview with Angie Martinez on Hot 97, Stoute had some less than kind words about the star.

“50 hasn’t had a hit in a really long time,” he said on air. “He has not made anything musically that has changed anything in a very really long time. I feel like he’s always gearing up for something that never happens.”

And the harsh words didn’t end there; Stoute appeared on another show and spoke about how he helped 50 Cent gain a highly profitable sneaker deal with Reebok, and why he thought he was ungrateful for it.

“50 Cent never thanked me for that,” Stoute stated. “The guy made so much money off of that, and the guy never thanked me. He walks around and says he can’t stand me. I don’t think he can stand anybody. I don’t know who he likes, but he definitely doesn’t like me. I gave him his first deal, gave him the sneaker deal. I don’t know. He just don’t like me.”
