I know that it’s hard to contain yourself around a prized show pig, but there are lines you just don’t cross. A man in Murray County, Oklahoma crossed that line.

KFOR in Oklahoma City is reporting that 77-year-old Jimmy “Hawkeye” Jeter was caught on tape violating a show pig at the barn at the Davis Public Schools. This might get a little graphic for sensitive readers, but the police record states that Jeter “walked into the pen, unzipped his pants, appeared to pull something out of his pants, then bent over the gilt (female pig).”

Jeter was more than willing to cooperate with the police and describe what he did to the pig. He explained that he wasn’t trying to poison the pig, he just wanted to stick his finger “up her private.” He apparently has a history of this as he did the same thing in the 70s. He also admitted that the encounter gave him “sexual gratification.” I’m pretty sure the pig didn’t feel the same way.

Jeter was charged with “detestable and abominable crime against nature.” The Oklahoma law specifically states:

Every person who is guilty of the detestable and abominable crime against nature, committed with mankind or with a beast, is punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections not exceeding ten (10) years. Except for persons sentenced to life or life without parole, any person sentenced to imprisonment for two (2) years or more for a violation of this section shall be required to serve a term of post-imprisonment supervision pursuant to subparagraph f of paragraph 1 of subsection A of Section 991a of Title 22 of the Oklahoma Statutes under conditions determined by the Department of Corrections. The jury shall be advised that the mandatory post-imprisonment supervision shall be in addition to the actual imprisonment.

As the Animal Legal & Historical Center points out, beastiality laws are controlled by the states with no federal law overseeing it. Only 30 states have laws regarding it so Jeter lucked out by living in Oklahoma, a state that defines the act as a felony.

While KFOR or the police wouldn’t release the video due to its graphic nature, WebProNews has obtained a dramatic reenactment:
