If you grew up in the 80s, you probably had a Commodore computer. The company made the super popular Commodore 64, but they are also known for manufacturing the Amiga line of personal computers in the 80s and 90s. Commodore has already brought back the Commodore 64 for the modern era, now it’s time for the Amiga to shine again.

The new Commodore Amiga is a mini-PC whose size is misleading. Under the tiny frame is housed a massive beast of a PC. While kids these days might not be interested or even know about the Commodore name, the revival of the Amiga brand is sure to interest some older computer fanatics.

Barry Altman, CEO of Commodore USA, said this about the launch: “This is an historic day. The team here has been working around the clock to fulfill the vision of a reunited Commodore and Amiga branded computer with the launch of our new Commodore Amiga mini.”

The Amiga mini-PC doesn’t disappoint in the specs department one bit. It’s equipped with a 3.5 GHz Intel i7 CPU, 16GB DDR3 RAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 430 GPU and 1TB SATA HDD. If you’re feeling to go solid state, you can substitute the 1TB SATA driver for either a 300 GB or 600 GB SSD. It also is equipped with two wi-fi antennae and bluetooth. By the way, it’s also equipped with a slot load blu-ray drive for that future finish.

All of this is crammed into an aluminum case that’s 7.5 square inches and only 3 inches in height. To make things even sweeter, it has the awesome Amiga logo stamped on the front of the machine. If you want to get your hands on the new Amiga mini-PC, it will set you back about $2,495.
