Serena Williams Is A Rapper Now?

Tennis champ Serena Williams, who soared past Maria Sharapova today to win a spot in the Madrid Open semifinals, has just added “rapper” onto her long list of accomplishments.

Williams’ song was leaked by TMZ, and while the lyrics are fairly cheeseball (I’m assuming she didn’t write it), it’s not half bad for someone who doesn’t rap or sing by trade. While ESPN compared her to Lil’ Kim without the profanities, I don’t think I’d go that far. But it’s miles better than a now-infamous song released onto the world by Caroline Wozniacki, one of Serena’s racket-slinging peers (she actually says the line, “Boy you’re my match point”).

No word on whether Serena will pursue a side career in music, although as dedicated as she is, it’s hard to imagine her being anywhere but on the courts.

I think Serena Williams has the potential to be one of the top male rap artists(image) 3 hours ago via Echofon ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto
