Every year, just as People Magazine announces their “Most Beautiful”, Maxim releases the 100 hottest people in the biz. This year’s list is full of what you’d expect; gorgeous models and actresses, the top faces and bodies in the competitive meat market known as Hollywood. But this year’s winner is fairly new to the scene, prompting some surprise (but not really, given her looks): Bar Refaeli.

The list is based on votes from around the world, and Refaeli received an overwhelming amount this year, placing her at number one just ahead of Mila Kunis.

“I am shocked that among all these beautiful ladies, I’m number one,” says Refaeli. “Thank you so much for voting for me! I’m truly honored. This is the title I will never forget.”

Kunis, who wowed audiences in 2010 with her performance in “Black Swan” (and, let’s be real, with her sexified love scene with Natalie Portman), has topped the list repeatedly through the years but has always fallen just short of number one. Olivia Munn came in just behind her at number three this year. Among the rest of the top ten were Katy Perry, Megan Fox, and Emma Stone, all young beauties in their own right.

Surprisingly, Stephen Colbert made it onto the list this year at number 69, perhaps proving that brains and wit are just as sexy as a hot bod.
