Holly Madison, who was the alpha dog in Hugh Hefner’s mansion during filming for the E! reality series “The Girls Next Door” and famously left Hefner when he wouldn’t marry her, is now planning to adopt a child.
Madison says that although she hasn’t had time to have a child on her own because she’s been focusing on her career, she feels now is the right time to be a mother. While enjoying success with her own spinoff show (“Holly’s World”) as well as a Vegas show, Madison has sought the help of an organization called Hold My Hand to assist her with the adoption process. It’s likely the child she adopts will be from Africa or South Korea.
“I’ve started the adoption process … I really want to be a mommy. I love performing in the theater, and you can’t really do that when you’re pregnant,” she said.
Curiously, Madison made no mention of her boyfriend, Pasquale Rotella, when announcing her plans. It’s not known whether he will play an active role in the child’s life or if Madison is simply moving on without him.
