Today pre-orders began for the iPhone 5, and the device was sold out within hours. Although some of the carrier sites still show September 21st as the projected ship date, Apple.com’s ship time has slipped to two weeks. It appears that the iPhone 5 is on its way to being another incredibly popular launch for Apple.
The iPhone 5 boasts a bigger screen, faster processor, improved camera, and it’s both thinner and lighter. And although there are plenty of people out there excited by the new device, there are others who have called the new iPhone an unimpressive rehash. Of course, nearly every big Apple launch brings out the pro-Apple vs. anti-Apple internet feud.
And the anti-Apple crowd has taken over Google+, as the tag #iSheep is trending at number one this morning.
