I love LEGO. You love LEGO. I think it’s safe to say that we all love LEGO. The little bricks that can do anything have entertained children for generations. Of course, entertainment is only one out of many roles that LEGO can play. People use them to build amazing contraptions. Today’s contraption may just be the most amazing.
YouTube user akiyuky has created what he calls the LEGO Great Ball Contraption. It’s a series of various contraptions that all serve to push small balls through a cacophony of moving parts until they reach their destination. I don’t want to spoil it so just watch the video. It’s absolutely mind blowing.
I don’t want to put in the 600 hours construction time it took him to build this. I do, however, want to play with it. This is the kind of automated LEGO machinery that delights me to my very core. Of course, now I want to see somebody top this. Don’t disappoint me, Internet. I know you can do it.
