Zooey Deschanel, everyone’s favorite quirky gal, finalized her divorce from Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard last week after two years of marriage. Court documents state “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the separation.
The couple split a year ago and have kept relatively mum on their relationship–and what went wrong–since then. The “New Girl” star is rumored to be dating screenwriter Jamie Linden at the moment.
It seems many people never knew Deschanel was ever married, and Twitter is buzzing today about the breakup.
