It’s been demonstrated a few times before, but it’s no less beautiful and strange when we see it again: boiling water thrown into the air at temperatures of -41 degrees Celsius. If you’ve never witnessed it, the water instantly turns from boiling hot liquid to lovely falling snow.

As one man from Siberia shows us, the phenomenon occurs almost in the time it takes you to blink, leaving a fine trail of powdery mist in its wake.
