British pop singer Lily Allen has kept her Twitter followers updated on everything concerning her pregnancy, including the fact that sometimes one can mistake a fart for a labor pain.

Allen gave birth to daughter Marnie Rose earlier this week, but not before she tried every trick in the book to get labor started, including eating spicy foods. That may have caused some of the stomach issues.

The “Smile” singer also tweeted about her choice of music during labor before announcing the birth with a thank you to all the well-wishers on the social media site.

This is the second child for Allen and husband Sam Cooper; their daughter Ethel Mary was born in November of 2011.
