The Assassin’s Creed franchise has the longest end credits sequence of any title in the industry. That’s because the game has to credit developers from at least four different studios. The credits in the latest game – Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – will probably be even longer.

Ubisoft announced today, via a trailer, that the latest Assassin’s Creed title is being developed by seven of its teams from around the world. As in past games, Ubisoft Montreal is the lead team on the project, but work is also being done by teams in Annecy, Bucharest, Kiev, Montpellier, Quebec, Singapore and Sofia.

The end credits for Assassin’s Creed Revelations lasted a whopping 16 minutes. For Assassin’s Creed III, the end credits took 18 minutes. Are we going to break 20 minutes with the latest title? With seven teams and over 1,000 developers working on the game, it’s a safe bet. Be sure to grab some popcorn and a drink as you read off the names of HR workers at Ubisoft Bucharest.
