Earlier today we brought you a video compilation of some of the best reactions to last night’s episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones. Well, it seems that the internet is not quite done dealing with one of the biggest events in television history. At least, not if Twitter is any indication.
Discussion of the Red Wedding is still lighting up social media 24 hours after the episode aired, with many people still expressing their horrified shock at the unexpected brutality of a scene that has caused many a reader to hurl their copy of A Storm of Swords across the room over the years.
Check out a sample of what people are saying on Twitter:
Eff you Game of Thrones. Eff. You.
I still haven’t watched last night’s Game of Thrones because I know I’ll need ice cream and I haz none.
Game of Thrones is the reason I will probably never attend a wedding ever again.
Why doesn’t ‘Game of Thrones’ author George R.R Martin use twitter? Because he killed all 140 characters #redwedding#GoT

While most reactions range from sadness and horror to sadness and horror with humor thrown in as a coping mechanism, the prize for the best reaction has to go to Maisie Williams, the actress who plays Arya Stark. Williams posted a reaction video to her Vine account earlier this evening:

Well said, Maisie. Well said.
