Amy Poehler, who announced her separation from actor-husband Will Arnett last September, is officially dating her “Parks & Recreation” co-star Nick Kroll. The pair were spotted on Thursday at AFI’s 41st Life Achievement Award Gala, enjoying dinner.
“Things are going well,” a friend of the couple said. “They have a lot of fun together obviously and are both real big fans of each other.”
Kroll has a recurring role on Poehler’s show as a radio shock-jock named “The Douche”, and while the two of them haven’t had a whole lot of onscreen time together, they appear to be smitten.
Poehler, who was at the awards dinner to honor Mel Brooks, couldn’t help but take a crack at the iconic director.
“I’m so honored to be here tonight,” Poehler said onstage. “I’m one of the younger presenters of the evening, believe it or not. This is embarrassing to admit, but I thought we were honoring Mel B from the Spice Girls.”
