The next proper Sonic game – Sonic Lost World – is a Nintendo exclusive. In other words, it’s only coming to the Wii U and 3DS. We’ve seen some gameplay from the Wii U version, but now Sega is giving us a sneak peak at the 3DS version.
Sega shared gameplay of the first stage – Windy Hill – running on the Nintendo 3DS. Sonic games on handhelds have usually been fantastic, and Sonic Lost World looks to continue that fine tradition.
We’re likely to see more from both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Sonic Lost World at E3 next week. We might even see the Blue Blur show up in another trailer for a certain Nintendo fighting game.
