Earlier this year, Michelle Duggar, the matriarch of the family depicted in the TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, mentioned that she and her husband, Jim Bob, might be considering adoption now that she has had difficulties carrying her latest pregnancies to term. Her last pregnancy, in 2011, ended in a miscarriage and her youngest child, Josie, was born a premature 22 ounces in 2011 following a short 25-week pregnancy. The Duggar’s may not need to adopt to get their baby fix however, now that their number of grandchildren is increasing rapidly.

Josh Duggar, Michelle’s oldest, this week announced that he and his wife, Anna, have given birth to their third child. Marcus Anthony Duggar was born on June 2. He weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 inches long at birth. The couple’s other children are 3-year-old Mackynzie Renée and 1-year-old Michael James.
