Jamie-Lynn Sigler has been busy since her days as Meadow Soprano; namely, busy starting a new chapter in her life with some major milestones. After getting engaged to baseballer Cutter Dykstra in January, she announced she was pregnant in February. Now, as she awaits the birth of her son, she says she’s never felt better.

“The first few months were not fun,” she said in an Us Weekly interview. “I got hit pretty hard, but I feel fantastic now. It’s the most natural thing your body can do. I have no part in anything that’s happening with the baby. I’m just kind of a vessel, so it really is a miracle and it really is an exciting time. If I feel like eating something I will. I haven’t read a single pregnancy book or anything. I’m just letting it happen.”

The “Guys With Kids” actress says she’s not ashamed to show off her belly in a bikini, which she did in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina recently on vacation with Dykstra. Rocking a white bikini and fedora, the mom-to-be looked comfortable in her own body (see pictures here).

“I would probably not be caught in a bikini otherwise, but when you’re pregnant, it is what it is!” the actress told People Magazine. “However your body’s carrying is how your body’s carrying.”

Sigler also talked about the impending birth, saying that as a first time mother she feels at least a little prepared due to close friends who have given her pointers.

“My best girlfriend JoAnna just had her baby a couple weeks ago and she talked me through her entire [birth] so I know everything that happened — the good, the bad, the ugly, and so I’ve got all the pointers,” Sigler said. “She’ll probably be there when I give birth, so it’s been nice to have her go through it and get to experience it with her.”
