A fox who found himself in a quandary recently got a little help from two men who happened to be nearby.

The kit had his head stuck inside a glass jar and was lucky enough to find some helpers with opposable thumbs to yank it off for him. Usually wild foxes aren’t too friendly with humans, although they have adapted their lifestyles for our environments. It’s a good thing Mama Fox wasn’t nearby, as they are fiercely protective of their kits and could have done the men some harm. After the fox was freed, he scampered away happily.

The little fox needn’t be embarrassed, though; earlier this month, a deer was caught on video with its head stuck in a Doritos bag; the animal was unharmed.
