More and more people are wanting to learn about 3D printing as the technology becomes cheaper and more accessible. Libraries are just starting to open up public maker spaces, but there’s plenty of dedicated private maker spaces for those who don’t mind spending a little money to learn all about 3D printing.
One such maker space belongs to Fathom – a 3D printer reseller that operates a workshop in Oakland, California. Stratasys stopped by in June to talk to the workshop about what they make and how they teach people to take advantage of this emerging technology.
Stratasys Blog author Sam Green visits the Fathom Workshop in downtown Oakland California to see some of the incredible range of 3D printing systems and prototypes they have on display. Fathom hosted a workshop for a number of their customers to help train them on the benefits of the PolyJet Digital ABS material.
