Stacy Keibler and George Clooney are reportedly calling it quits after years of constant speculation and rumors.

The couple spent July fourth apart–he in Italy, she in L.A.–and haven’t been seen publicly together since March, when they spent time in Berlin. Clooney is currently in Germany filming “Monuments Men”.

One of those infamous “sources” told People Magazine that their hectic schedules were to blame for the breakup, since they hardly see each other. But another source says that Keibler called things off because she and Clooney want different things.

“Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago.”

Clooney, who is Hollywood’s most perpetual bachelor, hasn’t commented on the relationship lately but Keibler posted a fairly telling quote on Twitter last month:
