If you’ve been a long time fan of Saints Row, you’re more than likely a big fan of Johnny Gat. His untimely death at the beginning of Saints Row: The Third was unfortunate, but he’ll back in the Saint’s latest outing.
In a new trailer released today, Volition announced that Johnny Gat will be back in Saints Row IV. It’s not clear if his return is a result of him not actually dying in the last game, or if this new Gat is just a clone. The below trailer makes it seem like the latter is the case.
So, how is Gat alive? Volition says we’ll find out when the game is released in August:

In other Saints Row IV news, the game was recently refused classification in Australia over an “Alien Anal Probe” weapon. The developers will likely have to remove the weapon for the game to be released in down under. As for other countries that want to dictate what entertainment adults can consume, Germany will surprisingly allow a completely uncensored version of Saints Row IV to launch within its borders.
Saints Row IV will launch on August 20 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
