Jack White has reportedly been having some issues in resolving his divorce from wife of six years Karen Elson, and now she’s filed a restraining order against him.

Apparently the issues sprang from Elson’s claims that White is unfit to parent their two children, and she wants full custody of both kids. Included in the restraining order affidavit is Elson’s claim that White has a violent temper and has been harassing her via email and text messages.

“Wife fears for her and the children’s safety as a result of this harassment,” the order reads.

The order also states that White contacted the couple’s business manager and berated Elson.

“This was done to harass and embarrass wife. This pattern of husband’s bullying wife into submission was a contributing factor in the demise of their marriage,” the paperwork says.

The “Blunderbuss” singer is also accused of having jealousy issues when it comes to others in the music biz; according to Elson, White got very upset when she attended the wedding of an unnamed musician because, as he said, that person “ripped off” his music.

As of now, White is forbidden contact with Elson except to arrange for visits with the children; a court hearing is set for August 29.
