Late last month, a YouTube channel belonging to ThreeD Ukelele uploaded a video with footage of what appeared to be the very first 3D printed rifle. It was able to fire one shot before breaking. Now the creator is back with a new and improved rifle that fires multiple rounds without breaking.

In a video uploaded over the weekend, ThreeD Ukelele, otherwise known as Matthew, revealed the Grizzly 2.0. He was confident enough in this latest iteration to fire it by hand, and it didn’t disappoint. In the below video, he’s able to fire three shots by hand. In fact, he was able to fire a total of 14 shots before the barrel cracked.

Like the Liberator before it, the Grizzly is stilly only able to fire one shot at a time. As you can see above, Matthew also has to clear the barrel after every shot. It’s not as effective as a modern gun, but it’s an amazing accomplishment for a weapon made entirely out of 3D printed plastic.

If you want more 3D printed rifle action, here’s the Grizzly 2.0 firing 10 shots:

If you want to know more about the Grizzly 2.0, here’s a video that shows what changes Matthew made to the rifle compared to last month:

So, when will you be able to get your hands on the files necessary to make your own Grizzly? Matthew told The Verge that he hopes to have the files up sometime this Summer. If it’s anything like the Liberator, the files will be taken down by the government almost immediately. Of course, it’s impossible to completely remove the files from the Internet once they’re uploaded so we’re going to see other Grizzlies popping up regardless of any government intervention.
