When AMC has a widely-anticipated season premiere of one of its shows, it usually likes to hook people who don’t have cable or satellite up with the episode for free on its website. They’re cool like that.
On Sunday, perhaps one of the most highly-anticipated final season premieres in television history aired when Breaking Bad began its final countdown. Once again, AMC is giving fans access to the show for free on AMC.com for a limited time, though it’s not clear just how long that is.
AMC writes on its blog, “Breaking Bad is back and Sunday’s Premiere of the Final 8 Episodes set the stage for an epic showdown between Walt and Hank. If you missed the show, AMC.com is now streaming the full episode for free. This is a one-time-only event and will not be happening with future episodes in the series. Watch it for the first time. Watch it again. Just do so quickly.”
When they did this with the Walking Dead midseason premiere in February, they left it up for a week, so it stands to reason they’ll do so again. But just to be safe, you might not want to wait that long.
The episode is also available to buy on Amazon and iTunes. Of course if you live in the UK, you can watch it on Netflix.
