Earlier this year, it was announced that Rashida Jones will be leaving “Parks & Recreation” in the middle of the upcoming season (sad face) along with costar Rob Lowe (double sad face), but there were no reports as to what she would be doing with herself afterwards. Now, it’s been announced that she will be producing an hour-long show for The CW along with her sister, Kidada.

The show focuses on two former best friends who discover they’ve been dating the same guy; after they plot their revenge on him, they get the idea to run a revenge-for-hire business. Sort of like an updated, female-driven version of “Dirty Work”.

Jones will be executive producing alongside her sister and her old writing partner, Will McCormack; Jones and McCormack are also working on “Stuck”, a comedy for Fox that they developed with “Parks & Rec” writer Alexandra Rushfield.

Jones and Rob Lowe–whose characters on “Parks & Rec” decided to have a baby together–will exit after about 13 episodes into the new season. Executive producers Mike Schur released a statement about their departure, saying they have big things in store for the actors’ last days.

“The news about Rob and Rashida is true — they will be leaving the show after the 13th episode of the upcoming season 6. We’ve been working on their storyline (on and off) for four seasons now, and heading into this year, with the two of them contemplating parenthood, it felt like a natural time to move them into the next phase. We absolutely love both Rashida and Rob, and will be sad to see them go. Rashida was one of the very first people we knew we wanted in the cast, and as important as Ann is to [Amy Poehler’s] Leslie (and vice-versa), she’ll certainly never be far from Pawnee,” he said. “Rob we initially thought we could only have for six or eight episodes, and we couldn’t be happier that he will have stuck around for 75. They are wonderful, funny, committed actors, they’ve been a huge part of the Parks and Rec family, and we think we have a great Pawnee send-off in the works for them.”
