Patrick Stewart got hitched over the weekend, and he announced the big news via Twitter in an absurdly adorable manner.

Stewart made it official with girlfriend Sunny Ozell, a singer-songwriter who has been seeing the “Star Trek: Next Generation” actor since 2008. The couple had the distinct honor of having Sir Ian McKellen marry them, as he and Stewart are longtime friends. McKellen shared a photo on his Facebook page over the weekend, holding up a black “Minister” shirt and the couple’s marriage certificate.

“I did my part,” the photo was captioned.
