Though Nintendo is having trouble selling its Wii U console, the popularity of the 3DS has never been higher. Along with that popularity has come a wide assortment of games for the system. Even games that might not normally get English localizations are being brought over by Japanese publishers.
Capcom today announced that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies will launch in North America and Europe on October 24. The game will be available in the Nintendo 3DS eShop for $30 or 25€. The release date is just weeks after the worldwide launch of Pokemon X and Y as well as the launch of Nintendo’s odd new 2DS console.
Dual Destinies is the seventh total game in the Ace Attorney series. It sees the return of Phoenix Wright for the first time since the end of the original Ace Attorney series. Apollo Justice also returns as a playable character in the game, and Wright will have a junior attorney named Athena Cykes by his side during trials.
Dual Destinies isn’t the only Ace Attorney game fans can look forward to on the 3DS. Nintendo last month announced that Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright will be coming to the U.S. sometime in 2014.
