Phil Hartman was one of the most beloved comedians of our time. He won our hearts portraying a randy Bill Clinton on “Saturday Night Live” and a sarcastic but lovable grouch on NewsRadio; his unmistakable voice made us laugh from the moment one of his characters appeared on “The Simpsons”. Hartman was shot and killed by his wife Brynn in 1998 during a marital dispute, but today, on what would have been his 65th birthday, fans and friends remember the man who gave us so much during his short time on this Earth.
Still miss him! RT @entylawyer: Phil Hartman would have been 65 today. Imagine what kind of comedy gold he would've created the past 15 yrs.

.@tystapleton just wrote "Happy Birthday, Phil Hartman!" on our whiteboard, and broke my heart just a little bit more.

Hartman died 15 years ago this past May; his old friend Jon Lovitz took to Twitter on the anniversary to remember his “big brother”.
15 years ago today, I lost my friend and big brother , Phil Hartman. Big loss for everyone.. Still. Remembering and never forgetting.
