Hall and Oates are among 16 nominees for the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Well, I Can’t Go For That, or in this case I can go for that. The band known for such popular hits as Out of Touch, Kiss on My List, and Man Eater have been vocal through Twitter with their fans about the upcoming nomination process.

Hall and Oates are in good company as several other popular iconic artists have been nominated as well. Peter Gabriel, KISS, Chic, The Zombies, The Replacements, Linda Ronstadt, The Meters, N.W.A., Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Deep Purple, LL Cool J, Yes, Cat Stevens, Link Wray, and the legendary Nirvana.
The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame will officially release the selected winners from the impressive group of talented musicians sometime within the next few weeks; however, a specific date has not been released. In typical rock ‘n roll style, the inductees will be released when those powers feel good and ready to release them.
Who I think is actually going to get inducted: Nirvana, KISS, Linda Ronstadt, Chic, N.W.A., and Hall & Oates.

Oh I didn't realise you had to choose one person for RocknRoll hall of fame. Don't make me choose between Peter Gabriel and Hall & Oates!

Thanks to the new Rock n Roll HOF nominees we can look forward to seeing 'Nirvana' & 'Hall & Oates' in the same sentence.
