Music legend James Taylor is known for many things; his rhythmic voice, impressive guitar skills, and now added to the list is his incorrect start to the “National Anthem.” The 55-year-old began singing “America the Beautiful” instead of “The Star Spangled Banner,” during Game 2 of the World Series, which took place at the world renowned Fenway Park.
The soothing voice for the Hall of Fame honoree, was able to maneuver the mistake with grace. James Taylor, who has won five Grammy awards, proved that even legends make mistakes.

Chris Cuomo from CNN shared his views through a tweet, “Best save in singing national anthem: James Taylor tonight during #WorldSeries.”
James Taylor may have hoped that the miss would go under the radar; however, Twitter is buzzing with the news.

I'm impressed. James Taylor can sing the National Anthem while playing an entirely different song on the guitar.

Singing the “National Anthem” at Boston’s Fenway Park sounds intimidating enough, but to recover quickly from any type of misstep would take a legend to pull off so effortlessles. As many have already commented, only James Taylor could make a mistake sound that great.
No matter what the circumstances, listening to James Taylor sing has the magical power to calm me down
