It’s finally arrived, and the wait is over – at least for AT&T customers. AT&T issued a press release in regards to the mobile device’s release. According to the AT&T Newsroom, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will be released Nov. 8. As the first major United States mobile carrier to offer the phone, AT&T stated that the device will only be available through two purchase options – an AT&T Next installment agreement, or a two-year wireless agreement.
The AT&T Next installment agreement is a month-to-month service agreement, where the phone is paid for in installments of $25.00 a month. While AT&T Next doesn’t lock customers in for a two-year agreement, the mobile device will end up costing much more than the initial flat rate of $199.99 with a two-year agreement. But, customers are given choices for affordability.

According to Samsung, the Android Jelly-Bean smartphone will come equipped with an expanded zoom compatibility, boasting a 16-megapixel camera with a 10x optical zoom lens. The 4G LTE smartphone will also feature a ‘spin-to-focus’ zoom control ring for manual capture control improvement.
The camera is relatively ground-breaking for a mobile device, as it’s zoom will have the ability to capture videos at 30fps in 1080p or 60fps at 720. Other cool features include built-in Xenon flash, 25 pre-set camera modes, and a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera, which flips the camera lens for those who love capturing “selfies.” The Galaxy S4 also comes with a 4.3” Super AMOLED screen display.
