Jennifer Lawrence is young, she’s an Academy Award-winning actress, and she’s starring in a series of insanely popular movies. Of course we’re all watching every move she makes, because why wouldn’t we? She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s charming, and she seems immune to pretty much all of the Hollywood bull that seems to consume young people. It’s no wonder, then, that as soon as she posted a photo on her Facebook page showing what appears to be a new pixie cut, everyone lost their collective minds.

As of now, the photo has 1,227 comments and has spawned several gossip-site stories, and of course Twitter is blowing up with everybody and their mama giving their opinion about the cut (short, choppy, sideswept, and totally cute in my opinion).

As usual @BuzzFeed hits the nail right on the head by calling Jennifer Lawrence's new 'do a Kate Gosselin cut.
