Twerking sensation Miley Cyrus, who turned 21 today, suffered the anti-celebratory event of having her home burglarized on Friday, November 22.
US Weekly reports that the LAPD North Hollywood Community Police Station said that there is presently an investigation into the break-in, and items were confirmed to have been taken from Cyrus’ house. Regardless of public outcry concerning Cyrus’ eyebrow-dyeing, tongue-wagging, spliff-toking antics, she is still a young person who had their house ransacked, which is never a good thing, and hopefully law enforcement is able to recover her belongings. A source told US, “She’s (Cyrus) extremely upset and a lot of personal items were stolen. She’s really shaken up about the whole thing.”
Cyrus almost immediately took to Twitter, to post photos of herself laying in bed with her dog, which appear serve as some sort of vaguely solipsistic commentary regarding the burglary. She also tweeted a picture of her birthday cake:

We cannot, and will not, ever turn away.
In additional to Cyrus’ roughly $150 million worth of good-girl-gone-bad monkeyshines, the songbird was recently featured in the track “Real and True,” with rapper Future. Future, who is apparently of the future, decided on a futuristic tone for the video of the duet:
The “Wrecking Ball” warbler is also set to perform at the American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The stunning and talented Katy Perry, who calls the AMA’s her favorite of all awards shows, will open the program.
