Justin Timberlake won big at the American Music Awards last night, taking home trophies for favorite pop/rock male artist, soul/R&B artist and soul/R&B album and bringing the house down with his performance of “Drink You Away”. Today, however, he’s the subject of a whole lot of speculation on the ol’ web, and some of it has to do with his wife, who was M.I.A.
Biel noticed the talk happening on Twitter last night and addressed it, saying she was watching the show from home but not explaining why she wasn’t by her husband’s side.
I'm watching from home tonight. Calm down, Internet.

The pop star was also spotted in the audience looking rather bored during Pitbull’s performance, staring off into space as though he had something on his mind. That, of course, also got tongues wagging.
Though Timberlake has seen success with his latest album, The 20/20 Experience, his latest film project, “Runner Runner”, was skewered by critics and he was called out in Variety Magazine because of the low box office numbers. The singer lashed out in an interview with GQ recently, saying that the opinion of a trade magazine didn’t even matter.
“The movie didn’t do well at the box office, so I should quit?” he said of the reviews. “Hold on a second. If I was somebody else, you wouldn’t have said that. I have the number one album this week, and I shouldn’t have released it? Come on, man. You sound like a dickhead…. It just shocked me because, like, you’re trade magazines. None of your opinions count. And by the way, none of you can do it.”
