Gisele Bundchen is a busy woman. Not only is she the highest paid supermodel in the world, she is also the wife of an NFL quarterback and the mommy of a one year old little girl named Vivian and a toddler named Benjamin. Like most women, Gisele sometimes struggles with balancing work and family but thanks to her hair and makeup team, she has it a little easier than most women.

Gisele recently shared a photo of herself getting glammed up by her hair and makeup team while she is breastfeeding baby Vivian. While many people already see breastfeeding as a beautiful thing and a special way for a mother and child to bond, Gisele’s photo has sparked some debate.

For some women, breastfeeding is a personal thing that should not be shared with the world, but done in private. This thought has been debated on for decades by breastfeeding mothers and those who choose to feed their babies with bottles. In the end, there really is no right or wrong answer, but more of an opinion and a mother’s choice.

Gisele posted her glam breastfeeding photo on Instagram with the caption, “What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep.” The photo shows Gisele sitting on a chair in a robe with baby Vivian latched on to her. Three hair and makeup artists are working on her hair, makeup and nails simultaneously.

The photo makes breastfeeding and motherhood seem effortless and although the photo seems harmless, it has gotten a lot of criticism.

“I think breastfeeding is a very personal thing,” Denise Albert, co-creator of TheMoms.com, told ABC News. “And for her to put this on Instagram while she’s getting her hair and make-up done is a little outrageous, and I think obnoxious.”

Gisele’s fans think otherwise and many breastfeeding mothers around the world thanked her for her support and for showing that breastfeeding is perfectly normal.

Do you think Gisele’s photo is unacceptable?
