Emily Goodhand recently revealed to US Weekly that she had an affair with Dean McDermott.Tori Spelling’s husband apparently met Goodhand while promoting his television hosting gig. McDermott is supposed to host the Canadian version of Chopped.Goodhand claims McDermott and her went to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.Then they had sex.She claims that McDermott told her about  having a “sexless” marriage. She says when they met through mutual friends, McDermott made the bold move to  slip her his keys.This clearly was an invitation to join him at his hotel.  Once their friends left, the two headed to his room.

Goodhand had this to say about her immediate attraction to McDermott:

“He was flirting. His personality is very charming,” Goodhand says. “I was drinking so what he said is blurry. But he was talking about his kids and his work. And when people open up, you feel closer to them in some way. I felt like I could trust him. And we know a lot of the same people, so we had that in common.”

Goodhand claims she regretted it,but not enough to not return to his hotel later.After that,they were done for the weekend.The two agreed it was a one-time incident.

Spelling and McDermott have four children together and have been married for seven years. Instead of encouraging or negating the rumors, Spelling chose to publicly ignore them. She instead posted pictures from her Christmas with her husband and children. Most of the pictures included the family happily together.One  picture is of all four children with Santa.She also posted video on her blog of the family on Christmas day.

Spelling, smartly,will probably ignore the rumors until more evidence is revealed.

McDermott also hasn’t spoken on the rumors. From past celebrity history, it’s very likely Goodhand is telling the truth.In the upcoming months,either new mistresses will emerge or new proof.  Either way,Spelling and McDermott are in for a bumpy new year.
