There have been a few Glee-related events that have been in the news these past few months, such as the recent wedding of Dot Marie Jones, as well as the announcement of Skylar Astin‘s guest appearances in the upcoming season. Now, long-time Glee star Naya Rivera has something to celebrate.

Rivera plays the character of “Santana Lopez” on the FOX show, a recent graduate from William McKinley High School, who has now moved to New York to be with long-time friends Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer). Rivera is also known for starring in a recent “I Would Do Anything For Love”-themed M&Ms commercial.

According to Yahoo OMG, the well-known Glee star posted an image on Instagram via Twitter on Wednesday, December 25th, showing off a new diamond necklace, as well as a closeup of her engagement ring.

Rivera became engaged to rapper Big Sean this past October. The couple states that they initially met through sending private messages to one another on Twitter (according to People.com). Rivera’s fiancé can also be heard on her recently released single titled “Sorry.”
