As 2014 is just starting to get underway, it seems the public has just got a front row seat in the spat between Alyssa Milano, from “Who’s the Boss” fame and actor and comedian Jay Mohr. After the two attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas, Mohr felt the need to comment on Milano’s possible weight gain. She gave birth to her son Milo Bugliari in August of 2011.

During the event, Mohr didn’t pull any punches when referring to Milano and said he could tell the 41-year old recently gave birth. “She was one of the presenters, “he said. “She’s very tiny, in height. It seems like she had a baby and said ‘I don’t really give a s—, I read it on her gut.” The story was first reported by the Daily News.

Then Mohr went a step further. “Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ,’ ” he said.

And if you thought Milano came back swinging with a nasty comment of her own, you’d be mistaken, as the New York native took the highest road possible, even taking the time out to compliment Mohr and his family.

“So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife,” she Tweeted. “You’re all lovely. Thank you for your kind words. #Appreciative.”

Of course the Tweet could have been sarcastic, but either way, it seemed that it left Mohr powerless, since only the absolute cruel-at-heart would say something else mean after a Tweet like that. And here’s the thing, Milano actually looked great, whether she gave birth or not, so it’s unclear what Mohr was actually seeing.

On the event’s red carpet, the stunning actress wore a fitted red dress that walked the line of classy and sexy, and there were no signs of her being overweight at all. And even if there was, is it Mohr’s place to call her out? Most folks would probably say no.
