Cameron Diaz says she won’t and hasn’t had Botox injections and that she plans to age naturally. Spotted sans her makeup at an airport recently, its clear to see she’s a woman of her word. And why not? There’s way too much emphasis on preventing aging or looking far younger than you really are. What’s with all that?
“The word ‘anti-aging’ or ‘reverse aging’ is just, it makes me crazy every time I see it. It really does,” she says. “There’s no such thing as anti-aging. We’re all aging, period. There’s no stopping that.”
She does admit to considering it, as most women of her means likely have.
“Sometimes I just want to Botox my entire face because I’m really tired. [With] acting, my face hurts at the end of like a movie, ’cause I’m like ‘Oh!’ (makes a face), ‘Ah!’ (makes another face),” she says. “And I’m just like, please stop it for one second! But then I’m like, no, that would be really weird.”
Diaz is promoting her new book, The Body Book, and in it the What to Expect When You’re Expecting actress promotes aging sans any artificial means. She shares her insight and helpful hints on becoming happier, healthier and stronger.

Even though she’s clearly doing so for promotional means, Cameron Diaz is in fact doing women everywhere a huge service by speaking out against artificial means of age-prevention. Teaching women to love themselves as they are is a gift. The actress is offering one for the taking–or rather for the price of her book.
