A representative for Whitney Houston’s family confirmed, on Friday, that Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has tied the knot with her long-time friend Nick Gordon. While the rep confirmed that the 20-year-old did, in fact, marry Gordon, he didn’t know when or where the wedding took place.
It seems as though Brown and Gordon simply eloped, and plan on having a larger wedding ceremony at a later date. “Don’t think 4 a sec that a ceremony isn’t in store this year …!? They’re will be a wedding & a gorgeous1at that (:,” Brown tweeted on her personal Twitter profile on January 10.
On January 9, Brown tweeted a picture of her and Gordon’s hands, and captioned the photo by saying: “#HappilyMarried. So #InLove. If you didn’t get it the first time that is.” Gordon also confirmed their marriage, via Twitter, by tweeting: “Lovin life with my wife.”

While the couple seems to be on cloud nine with their marriage, there is one person who doesn’t approve. Brown’s grandmother Cissy Houston is irate that her granddaughter got married, to the man that was raised as her brother (Whitney formally adopted Gordon when he was 12), without her blessing.
Brown and Gordon both claim that they did receive her blessing, but Houston says that it never happened. I don’t suppose there is anything that she can do about in now.
