Taylor Swift fans have a keen ear when it comes to shade being thrown her way, and they certainly did not miss the blink-and-you-might-miss-it joke that Tina Fey threw out at last night’s Golden Globe awards.
The line came after co-host Amy Poehler won an award for Best Actress In A Television Series, when Fey hugged her friend and said, “I just want to say congratulations again to my friend Amy Poehler, I love you and there’s a special place in hell for you.” If you’re not aware, a very similar line was uttered by Swift last year in a Vanity Fair interview when she responded to a jab the comedians made at her in their awards show monologue.
“There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t support other women,” Swift said (actually, they do).
Turns out, Swift fans didn’t dig the joke and have started a petition to get Fey and Poehler fired by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
If you don't respect Taylor Swift, then I won't respect you *cough Tina Fey*
