Jon Gosselin confirmed in an interview on Tuesday that he won’t be having any more children, and made sure of it with a vasectomy.

The 36-year old former reality star and father of 8 says that he’s dating a woman with three kids of her own, and that they’ve both taken measures to ensure there are no more kids on the way.

“We can’t have more kids,” he said. “Yeah, I’m fixed and Liz is fixed.”

Gosselin, who had a very public divorce and bitter aftermath with ex Kate, says he’s not opposed to the idea of marrying again.

“I like the thought of marriage,” he said. “Like I do, being committed to each other and vowing to be together and when you see cute old couples through Central Park, it’s like, ‘I want that.'”

Gosselin hasn’t been shy about expressing his feelings about his ex-wife, saying the two of them only text regarding the kids and have no communication other than that.

“At this point, there is no cooperation, there is nothing, There’s two different totally parenting styles, two different totally everythings. Which is a shame, because it affects me, but it really affects my children,” he said in an interview with Oprah last year.
