Goldie Hawn hasn’t appeared in film or on television in more than a decade, but there’s a rumor floating around that she’s about to make a comeback.
The rumors began after the 68-year old actress changed agencies, from William Morris Endeavor (WME) to Creative Arts Agency (CAA). Her last film was “The Banger Sisters” in 2002. While she’s done some voice work, most of her time has been spent with the Hawn Foundation, a group dedicated to children and education. In fact, she’ll participate in a discussion at The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Thursday, Jan. 23 about a new program called “Mindful Works”, a collaboration between her organization and Aetna. The program uses tools and neuroscience research to teach people get focused and, therefore, to thrive.
“If you can teach people about their most important resource, their brain, show them tools and strategies for self-regulation, stress management, how to achieve greater focus and the power in choosing optimism, you’ll have a population that becomes more resilient and able to deal more effectively with the challenges we will all face as a 21st century workforce,” Hawn said.
The actress and writer hasn’t announced any plans to return to acting yet; in 2012, she backed out of a pilot for HBO called “The Viagra Diaries” without giving a statement as to why.
