It looks like Donald Trump is going to be a grandpa to his seventh grandchild this Summer. Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump, announced, via Twitter, that he and his wife Vanessa Trump would be welcoming their fifth child this year.
Trump will not have any trouble playing the role of grandpa, considering he already has six grandchildren. Trump Jr. and Vanessa have four young children Kai, 6, Donald Trump III, 4, Tristan, 2, and Spencer, 1, and his sister Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner have two children Arabella, 2, and Joseph, 3 months.
While Trump loves being a grandfather, he doesn’t necessarily like the title of “grandpa”. In a 2012 interview with Ryan Seacrest, Trump explained his dislike for the name. “Call me anything, but that! It’s beautiful and endearing, but it’s a tough term to get used to,” he admitted. “Let them call me Mr. Trump. Let them call me Donald. Anything but Grandpa!” Mr. Trump…really?
When Trump Jr. and Vanessa, who celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in December, found out that they would be welcoming another bundle of joy this Summer, Trump Jr. took to Twitter to share their exciting news.
“Well @MrsVanessaTrump Kai, D3, T-man Spencer & I have some exciting news… We are expecting baby #5 this summer. Cant wait #evenlesssleep,” he tweeted on Tuesday. “Thx We are very excited!” Vanessa tweeted after receiving several congratulations messages.
