Veteran meteorologist Jim Cantore has been a fixture on The Weather Channel for nearly 30 years, going on into the field to cover some of the country’s major weather events – Katrina, Irene, Sandy…the list goes on.
Let’s just say he knows how to handle pressure. And he definitely knows how to handle a drunk videobomber – a well-placed knee to the balls.
While reporting on the rare snow/ice storm hitting Charleston, South Carolina, an unidentified man ran up to Cantore while he was live on The Weather Channel. Without missing a beat, Cantore deftly raised his right knee and stopped the attempted videobomb in its tracks.
At least the Charleston resident will have something cold to rub on those swollen jewels.
No harm done. The self-proclaimed “weather geek” is back to covering the weather.
