For those thinking about buying an engagement ring and proposing to their girlfriend, you might want to think outside-of-the-box a little, because that’s what Emily Maynard’s boyfriend did, so it might be difficult for you to get away with a proposal that’s not at least halfway inventive.

The former “Bachelorette” contestant announced that not only is she officially engaged, but her fiance Tyler Johnson, bought four different engagement rings, and gave them to her all at once. You can see the rings here on Maynard’s website.

The blonde beauty also went on to say that she feels extremely hopeful about her future with Johnson, even though she’s had a lot of relationship issues in the past.

“I can already hear all of the Debbie Downers out there saying, ‘Again?’ But let me be the first to say, this time it’s the real deal. I promise,” wrote Maynard on her website. “We’ve been dating for over a year and have known each other for much longer. I used to teach a jewelry making class at a middle school that my church adopted and Tyler was one of the coordinators of the program.”

Although Maynard didn’t post a photo of the rings on any of her social media pages, she posted one of herself, Johnson and her daughter on her Instagram account. And now that her engagement is official, she needs help planning the wedding, she says.

“New Post at EmilyMaynard.com today,” she wrote on the Instagram photo. “You heard it here last, I’m engaged. Any wedding planning advice?”

In addition, the North Carolina jewelry maker said that she didn’t ask Johnson for four engagement rings, he bought them on his own, and all she wanted was a band with no diamonds. “I told him I didn’t want a traditional engagement ring and that I just wanted some simple bands,” she wrote. “He went above and beyond to say the least and they couldn’t be more me. I got a good one.”
